Description
Uses and benefits
- Dolo NeuroAlfa injection is used to treat conditions involving nociceptive pain (for example, injuries) and neuropathic (nerve-related) pain. Specific indications:
- Nerve pain (neuralgia/neuritis): Effective for conditions such as sciatica (pain in the lower back and legs), lumbago, cervical syndrome, trigeminal neuralgia and intercostal neuralgia. The B vitamins help nourish and potentially regenerate damaged nerve fibers.
- Inflammatory and rheumatic conditions: Used for painful rheumatic processes such as arthritis, spondylitis and acute gout attacks, where the anti-inflammatory component reduces pain and inflammation.
- Post-operative/traumatic pain: Can be used to manage pain after surgery or an injury.
- Nutritional deficiencies: The B vitamins in the injection help correct deficiencies that can cause symptoms such as numbness, tingling, fatigue and weakness. Injections are often preferred in case of severe deficiencies or absorption problems.
Key ingredients
This injection is a combination of B vitamins and a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID):
- Diclofenac sodium: an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving agent that reduces pain and inflammation.
- Thiamine (vitamin B1): helps supply energy to nerve cells and is essential for keeping them working properly.
- Pyridoxine (vitamin B6): important for the proper functioning of nerve cells and the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
- Cyanocobalamin/methylcobalamin (vitamin B12): essential for nerve metabolism, for maintaining the myelin sheath (the protective covering of nerves) and for forming red blood cells.
