Description
What is it?
- An antibiotic and antiprotozoal in liquid form.
- Belonging to the nitroimidazole class, it inhibits the growth of anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites.
Indications :
- Bacterial infections : Serious infections of the intestine, skin, bones, brain, lungs, blood and reproductive system, especially those caused by anaerobic bacteria.
- Parasitic infections : Trichomoniasis, amebiasis, giardiasis.
- Specific conditions : Bacterial vaginosis, dental abscesses, Helicobacter pylori ulcers, scrotal infections and prevention of post-operative infections.
Important directions for use:
- Shake well : Shake the bottle well before each dose.
- Accurate dosing : Use the measuring device provided, not a kitchen spoon.
- Taking with food : Take with food or a large glass of water/milk to avoid digestive upset.
- Complete treatment : Finish the prescribed treatment, even if you feel better, to prevent resistance.
