The paracetamol suspension is a liquid pain reliever and fever reducer used to relieve mild to moderate pain and fever in children and adults. It is available in different strengths (for example, 120 mg/5 ml for infants, 250 mg/5 ml for older children). It treats headaches, teething pain, colds, flu symptoms and body aches. Often preferred to NSAIDs such as ibuprofen because it is gentler on the stomach, it also comes in a sugar-free version. Pain relief: Headaches, toothaches, ear infections, teething pain, sore throats, body aches and menstrual pain.
Fever reduction: Helps lower fever associated with colds and flu.

Directions for use (General advice)

Shake well: Shake the bottle vigorously for at least 10 seconds before each use.
Use the right device: Always use the syringe or measuring spoon supplied with the medicine to measure the dose accurately.
Check the dosage: Follow the specific dosage for your child’s age and weight, given on the packaging or leaflet. Frequency: Can usually be given up to 4 times a day, with at least 4 hours between doses.

Important notes

Ingredients: May contain sugars (sucrose) or colorings (tartrazine, carmoisine) that can cause reactions in some people, especially people with diabetes.
