The Acetaminophen is a widely used pain reliever and fever reducer, available without a prescription in the United States. It is indicated for headaches, muscle pain, arthritis and cold symptoms. Dosage : For adults and children 12 years and older, the usual dose is 2 extra-strength tablets (500 mg) every 6 hours, without exceeding 6 tablets in 24 hours, unless directed otherwise by a doctor.

Warning : It is essential to check the labels of all medicines (including cold and flu remedies) to avoid an accidental overdose, as many products contain acetaminophen.
