Description
Common dosage and indications:
- Pinworm, roundworm and hookworm infections: 1 tablet of 400 mg as a single dose.
- Strongyloidiasis, taeniasis: 1 tablet (400 mg) per day for 3 consecutive days.
- Giardiasis: 1 tablet (400 mg) per day for 5 days.
- Administration: The tablet can be chewed, swallowed or crushed, preferably with a meal.
Contraindications and precautions:
- Pregnancy: Contraindicated.
- Breastfeeding: Contraindicated, or stop breastfeeding for 48 hours after taking it.
- Side effects: Generally well tolerated, but abdominal pain, headaches or dizziness may occur.
