Description
Composition (per tablet)
- Acetaminophen (paracetamol): 250 mg
- Propyphenazone: 150 mg
- Caffeine: 50 mg
Indications
- Headaches and toothaches.
- Painful periods.
- Muscle, rheumatic and injury-related pain.
- Fever and flu-like symptoms.
Dosage
- Adults: 1 to 2 tablets, 2 to 3 times a day.
- Children aged 12 to 16: 1 tablet, 2 to 3 times a day.
Contraindications
- Children under 12.
- Kidney or liver disease.
- G6PD deficiency (risk of hemolytic anemia).
- Allergy to any of the ingredients.
Precautions
- Avoid if you have porphyria.
- Paracetamol can increase the effect of warfarin (an anticoagulant): tell your doctor if you take it.
- Do not take any other medicine containing paracetamol at the same time.
- Usually well tolerated; rare allergic reactions (rash, itching, hives) are possible.
- Store away from light in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children.
