Presentation
- Cough syrup, 100 ml bottle.
Composition
- Diphenhydramine hydrochloride: 12.5 mg
- Ammonium chloride: 100 mg
- Sodium citrate: 50 mg
Effects
- Reduces coughing.
- Relieves sneezing.
- Relieves a runny nose.
- Soothes sore throats.
Precautions
- Often causes drowsiness: avoid driving or operating machinery, and do not drink alcohol.
- Do not take it with any other medicine containing diphenhydramine.
- Ask a doctor before giving it to a child under 6, and never give it to make a child sleepy.
- Ask a doctor if you have glaucoma, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Follow the dosage given in the leaflet.
