Active ingredient : Paracetamol (acetaminophen) 250 mg per 5 ml.
Uses : Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in children.
Method of administration : The syrup is taken by mouth. Shake the bottle well for at least 10 seconds before use. Use the measuring device (dosing spoon or oral syringe) supplied in the package for accurate dosing.
Dosage : The dosage is based on the child’s weight and age, as recommended by a healthcare professional. A common dosage is 10 to 15 mg per kg of body weight per dose, every 4 to 6 hours, without exceeding 4 doses in any 24-hour period.
Precautions :
- Do not use with other products containing paracetamol, to avoid an overdose, which can cause serious liver damage.
- Consult a doctor if the child has liver or kidney problems, is malnourished or is taking other medicines. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.
