Precautions for use
- For external use only: Do not swallow. In case of contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly and see a doctor.
- Concentration: Follow the indicated strength; a higher concentration is more powerful but riskier.
- Mixing: Do not combine it with other antiseptics, as their effects may cancel each other out.
- Children: Keep out of reach.
Effect on wounds
- Hydrogen peroxide releases active oxygen thanks to an enzyme present in the tissues (catalase).
- This reaction foams, providing mechanical cleaning, but it does not completely sterilize and only temporarily reduces microorganisms.
